University Closing at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28

Due to the approaching winter storm, Regent University will close today, Tuesday, January 28th, at 1 p.m. All on-campus classes and activities will be cancelled, unless previously authorized. The Student Center will remain open for student access but the Ordinary will close. Online classes will be unaffected.
University officials will continue to closely monitor weather conditions throughout the day and into the evening, and will announce a decision regarding university operations for Wednesday, January 29th.
If the university delays opening or is closed, an announcement will be sent via Regent Alert, posted to Regent.edu, and broadcast on local television stations WTKR-TV 3, WAVY-TV 10 and WVEC-TV 13, as well as on several radio stations. Updates will also be made to the weather hotline at 757-352-4777.
