VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.—The
Regent University Naro Film Festival will be held on May
8, 9, and 12. This festival is the highlight of the
school year for film students at Regent University. The
Naro Theatre is located on Colley Avenue in the Ghent
district of Norfolk.
This year, a
record-breaking 23 films will be shown during the
festival. Dr. Andrew Quicke, associate professor in the
School of Cinema/Television, said that the films
submitted this year were of such top quality that the
choice to include more than the usual number at the
festival was inevitable.
Tickets for the Regent
Naro Film Festival may be purchased at the theatre door
or at the Regent University Bookstore. The festival
starts at 7:15pm on Wednesday and Thursday evening, and
at 1:15pm on Sunday afternoon.
