Instructions to Persistent Links - FirstSearch Databases
Most FirstSearch databases are Citation Indexes and only point to full-text sources. The ATLA database, however does include full-text articles. The articles found in the other FirstSearch databases will point to locations outside the database itself, so the persistent link will use the formula of the database FirstSearch redirects you to. For the ATLA database follow the steps below:
- 1. Search for full-text ATLA Article
- 2. Click the full-text link of the article (HTML or PDF)
- 3. Click the "Link Pickup" icon at the top of the screen
- 4. Paste URL into Blackboard or any other web-page
