The Verizon Media Center (VMC) is designed to be a place for self exploration and learning. We encourage you to visit the Resources and Training page to learn more about the software and equipment available to you in the VMC.

Other resources available:

  • Information Technology lab assistants make daily rounds of all of the computer labs on campus. Call the lab assistant in the Student Center computer lab at 757.352.4942 to request assistance. Lab assistants are not trained to provide in-depth assistance with the video and audio editing programs on VMC computers.
  • Library staff are also available to help with basic questions about the VMC. For questions about where materials are located, how to check out training materials, and other basic VMC questions, you can ask a library staff member for help.
  • The Information Technology Help Desk is available by phone at 757.352.4076. Help Desk personnel are not trained to provide in-depth assistance with the video and audio editing programs, but can answer basic computer questions and help with questions about login and password issues.
  • Need some extra help with a project in the Verizon Media Center? Fill out a consultation request form to set up an appointment for someone to assist you.Consultations are provided on an as-available basis.
