Microsoft Campus Agreement

The Microsoft Campus Agreement allows for Regent University faculty and staff to use, the same Microsoft products they use at work on their home computers. Student workers and adjunct professors are not eligible. Microsoft Office 2007 (for PC and Mac) and Microsoft Visio 2007 can be purchased for a fee. The employee, and not Regent University, is responsible for paying this fee. The Windows 7 operating system, is available for free through IT Purchasing (ext. 4073). You do not own the license or the CDs, rather you are authorized to use the software according to the terms and conditions of the Microsoft Campus Agreement.

  • For employees to participate, contact itpurchasing@regent.edu. You will be provided an authorization code that will allow you to order the software at Microsoft's web site: https://hup.microsoft.com. Go to the web site, enter your regent email account and the authorization code, choose the software you want, provide the credit card billing information, and you can then either download the product for $9.95 or have Microsoft send the software directly to you for $21.95 (includes shipping and handling). Keep in mind that should your computer crash or your hard drive get reformatted.
  • Questions concerning order or shipment status need to be directed to Microsoft. You may email sahup@one.microsoft.upgrade.com.
  • Employees participating in the Home Use Program (HUP) are entitled to the same support options as other Microsoft customers, including access to resources and newsgroups on the Microsoft Web site, and pay-per-use e-mail and telephone support. Visit http://www.microsoft.com/support for details. It should be noted that Microsoft does provide one support incident for setup and installation with each copy of HUP media.
  • The Product License Key is provided for your use only. Each eligible employee is entitled to a single license of a qualifying Microsoft program. Employees may not make additional copies of the software. Employees may not provide or sell copies of the software.
  • If Regent University does not renew this agreement or convert to perpetual licenses for the Software, then you must remove the Software licensed under this agreement from your computer at the time the agreement expires or is terminated.
  • If you end your employment with Regent University you must remove the Software from your computer.
