Student Services administers the University's Academic Writing Seminar, a course designed to assist graduate students in understanding and facilitating the rigors of academic writing.
The course reviews the fundamentals of Standard American English grammar and focuses on the role revision plays in creating effective and readable academic papers. Other subjects covered include implementing the writing process, developing thesis and topic sentences, and writing effective and varied sentences.
