Industry statistics are often published by the federal
government or the industry itself. The first source to check for statistics is the
Statistical Abstract of the United States (Ref
Desk HA202.S72). Besides STAT-USA, the following websites will provide statistics:

Each report contains the latest information on the current environment of the industry and
the latest statistics.
Current Industrial Reports
Provided by the Census Bureau, this site gives the latest statistics available on certain
products.

Bureau of Economic Analysis: Industry and
Wealth Data
Detailed reports on the gross domestic product by industry.
FEDSTATS
Can be searched by keyword to obtain statistical information from over 70 government
agencies.
