Regent University
Library welcomes Alumni of Regent to use the Library
and its
resources.
Library Card
A Regent University Library Card may be obtained by filling out an Alumni
Registration Form at the Circulation Desk in the Library. The Circulation
department then issues the card as soon as the graduation date is verified
through the University's central registration. The card allows alumni to check out books and audiovisual materials.
Books and AV
To determine what titles the
Library
holds, use the Library Catalog. Alumni may check out up to five books at a time for 3 weeks, with one renewal
using a valid Regent University Library card. AV materials may be included
in the five, but are limited to two AV titles at a time for one week with one renewal.
Fines
Overdue books are charged to your account at 10 cents per day.
Overdue AV materials
are charged to your account at 25 cents per day.
Database Access
Currently, the Library is offering three
databases for Alumni use. To register for access to these,
please fill out this online
form. Processing may take up to five (5) business days for verification
and approval. Also, please remember these other options regarding
electronic resources:
American public libraries offer access
to selected databases and the Internet, usually requiring only a valid library
card to the respective library, and a valid driver's license.
Through professional memberships and organizations in
one's field of work,
vendors often offer reduced rates for individuals who are members of the professional
organization. Visit the "Subject
Resources" page pertaining to your
school or college for links to selected professional organizations.
