Doctoral students will be allowed to request 75 journal articles free of charge per academic year from July 1 through June 30 and will be informed when the requests reach 70. There will be a $2.00 fee for each article in excess of 75. The library has a wealth of full-text journal resources online. We encourage you to make use of the Full-Text Journal Title List before requesting an article through Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services. Your understanding will be appreciated. GENERAL INFORMATION Interlibrary loan (ILL) services provide eligible patrons with materials which are NOT available in the Regent University Library. These services comply with the Interlibrary Loan Code for the United States, CONTU Guidelines for Photocopying under Interlibrary Loan Arrangements, and by regulations of Regent University as well as those of individual lending libraries. Regent University Interlibrary Loan Department will not provide interlibrary loan services for materials that students can obtain themselves from other libraries in the immediate area. ELIGIBILITY Regent University students, faculty, and staff with valid library cards may submit Interlibrary Loan requests. Patrons associated with the School of Law and the ACLJ should submit Interlibrary Loan Requests to the Law Library. SERVICES
Note: While requests for dissertations, theses, and AV materials will be accepted, many lending libraries choose to not lend these items. Dissertations and some theses may be purchased through Digital Dissertations. REQUESTING MATERIALS
TURN AROUND TIME Most requests are entered into our computer system within 24 hours of receipt. Response time varies greatly depending on the type and availability of the material being requested, the delivery system being used, and the processing efficiency of the lending library. Turn around time may be as little as two days or as long as two weeks or more. DOCUMENT PICK-UP Patrons will be notified by phone or email when the requested materials arrive. Materials may be picked up at the Library Circulation desk. Materials that are not picked up within one week of notification may be returned to the lending library. Copies of articles may be delivered directly to patrons electronically. COST Most ILL materials are obtained free of charge. However, if Regent Library is charged for a loan or must pay more than $10.00 for a photocopy of an article, a $5.00 fee will charged to the patron. All fees are due upon receipt of the materials. A fine of $1.00 per day is charged for all overdue items. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
