Style Manual Resources on the Web

APA      Chicago Manual of Style        MLA        Turabian
These style manual resources are arranged first by style then by format of the item you wish to cite.  To consult web sites that offer guidelines for citing primarily printed material look under the "Print:" sections.  If you are citing electronic information, i.e., the World-Wide-Web, email data, discussion lists, online databases, & software programs look under the "Electronic:" sections.  Web sites for The Chicago Manual of Style and MLA cover both formats, print and electronic.

Besides the web sites below, two other great sources for citation style, all formats, are the Library of Congress, How to Cite Electronic Sources, and the Internet Public Library, Citing Electronic Information. The U.S. Census Bureau publishes its own guidelines for citing the data on its Internet pages, Suggested Citation Styles for Our Internet Information
