What is the process for international registrations?

If you already possess a visa and passport, follow the standard registration process.

In many cases, a visa letter of invitation must be submitted to the U.S. Embassy in your country if you are an international prospective student who wishes to attend Preview Weekend. In order to receive this letter, please follow these steps:

  • Submit payment in full by check, credit card or wire transfer to Regent University.
  • Once your payment is confirmed, request a visa letter of invitation by contacting preview@regent.edu.
  • Along with your request, please provide your date of birth, full name as it appears on your passport and complete mailing address.
  • The Preview coordinator will send a visa letter of invitation to you at the home address you provide. You are responsible for submitting the letter and other required documentation and fees to the U.S. Embassy in your country.

NOTE: The embassy may require several weeks to approve your visa request. Please begin this process at least 12 weeks before Preview Weekend.

As a local, how do I decide which option is best for me?

If you're looking for a streamlined opportunity to receive detailed admissions and financial aid information, you may enjoy the one-day experience. Your day will follow the Friday portion of the Preview Weekend schedule beginning at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast in The Founders Inn Swan Terrace and will allow you time to meet faculty, students and other prospective students.

For additional time and opportunity to interact with faculty and future friends while enjoying Regent's beautiful campus and resources, you will benefit from the full Preview experience. This option allows you to join any or all parts of the weekend beginning Thursday afternoon and ending at noon on Saturday and provides you all the information you need to help you decide on the next step for your educational future.

Whichever option you choose, an admissions representative from your school of interest will contact you to learn about your academic goals and provide details on how to get the most out of your Preview experience.
