Newspaper headlines and television stories have provided countless examples over the past decade of ethical failure, particularly in the area of financial management. This course is designed to provide students with a solid framework of ethical financial management skills in order for students to lead by example in this critical area and identify potential financial mismanagement in their organizations. Students will also engage in the fundamentals of organizational governance to better understand where the balance of control lies, as well as how key positions and roles play an integrated part in upholding ethical financial standards.
