Certificate in Accounting and Financial Management: Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Performance (course four of six)
Wednesday, September 3, 2014
6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Strategic planning is more than just reviewing past performance and predicting future results. It is a calculated process of navigating an organization from where it is today to its goals of tomorrow, recognizing the challenges and opportunities that could arise along the way. Students will walk through this process in this course, as well as revisit budgeting concepts in order to create a holistic and realistic strategic plan. In addition, students will learn fundamental principles of performance management in order to gauge the effectiveness of a strategic plan and make adjustments as necessary.
