Associate Professor, Psychology
Dr. Daniel Hitchcock is originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and has lived in many places over his career, including New Jersey, Iowa, Pennsylvania, France and Switzerland. He earned his master′s and doctorate degrees from Rutgers University in New Jersey, studied in Switzerland at the University of Geneva and completed his undergraduate education at Colorado College in Colorado Springs.
He is passionate about his faith in Jesus Christ and how faith is central to our psychological being as humans. Hitchcock's joy is to see students connect the dots and see how true understanding, functioning and healing can result from an integral perspective of Christian psychology.
Hitchcock is married and has four children that he and his wife homeschool. Hitchcock loves fishing, camping, singing, swimming, his ′64 VW and spending time with his family. The Hitchcocks live in Chesapeake, Virginia.
