Dr. Dan Koev was born in Bulgaria and emigrated to the United States as a child. Prior to joining the faculty at Regent University, Koev was a graduate instructor at the University of Illinois and a researcher at the Cato Institute. His research focuses on the political mobilization strategies of ethnic minority groups in Europe. In his free time, he enjoys reading, studying Christian apologetics and philosophy, and watching and playing soccer.
