Regent alum pens "The Ultimate Gift," in theaters now: Two-week box office total at 2.5 million, Big Pictures biggest hit

 

Regent University’s School of Communication & the Arts alum Cheryl McKay’s “The Ultimate Gift” opened in more than 800 movie theatres on Friday, March 9, taking 1.2 million in box office, for a healthy $1,520 per screen average. After two weeks, "The Ultimate Gift" has earned $2.5 million in box office.

Georgia team wins Regent-hosted national tournament; Regent alumnus coaches AASU team to victory

 

The team of Brian Dotson and Adam Morrison of Armstrong Atlantic State University was victorious at the American Moot Court Association national tournament hosted by Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA on Jan. 19-20, 2007.

Former "Cosby Show" writer speaks to students about sit-coms: Regent alum, Auer, presents view of sit-coms as social commentary

 

Former staff writer for “The Cosby Show” and Regent University School of Communication & the Arts alum, Chris Auer spoke on Dec. 8, to a an intimate and engaging audience as part of the Hollywood/Regent Connection Series.

Auer graduated in 1981 from then, CBN University. He became a staff writer for “The Cosby Show” from 1986-1988 and also wrote for “Another Life” as well as producing “Big Brother Jake.”

In the heart of the nation's Capitol, Regent's Washington, D.C. Alumni Chapter hosts annual reception
 

Regent University’s Washington D.C. alumni chapter held its annual reception on Jan. 5 at the Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill.

The reception was an opportunity for alumni in the area to fellowship and network with their peers. Regent’s Washington D.C. alumni chapter has a total of 867 members; almost 100 members were present at the reception.
