Directions to the Regent University Campus

Regent University is located in Virginia Beach, which is part of the greater Hampton Roads area.

When traveling on Interstate 64 in Southside Hampton Roads:

  • Take the East Indian River Road exit (286B).
  • If you are staying at The Founders Inn and Spa, note that you will see it on your right at the first traffic light (Regent University Drive). The entrance to The Founders Inn also offers access to the Regent campus.
  • If you are checking in directly at the Welcome Center, turn right at the second traffic light (Centerville Turnpike), right at CBN University Drive, and left into the parking area at the School of Communication & the Arts Building or the School of Divinity Building/Welcome Center.

Ample free parking is available in the lots marked “L,” “K” and “N” for the duration of your visit. Free parking is also available for guests of The Founders Inn and Spa.

Regent is easily accessible from both the Norfolk International Airport and the Greyhound Bus Terminal, both just 15 minutes away.

If traveling to Virginia Beach by air, you may take advantage of Norfolk International Airport (ORF), which offers convenient connections to most major U.S. airports. You may also choose to fly in to Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport
, located just 35 miles from campus.


Preview guests who require lodging may stay at The Founders Inn and Spa, one of Virginia Beach’s most luxurious hotels, located on campus adjacent to Regent University and the Christian Broadcasting Network.

Airport Shuttle: The Founders Inn and Spa provides a shuttle service for individuals traveling via the Norfolk International Airport ($10 each way). Please contact Founders Inn to coordinate transportation.

Graduate degree candidates who register to attend Preview should have completed at least three years of undergraduate education.

Business attire for men includes dress pants, jacket and collared dress shirt. For women, business attire consists of dress pants or skirt with dress shirt and jacket.

If you have special circumstances, simply contact the Preview coordinator at or 866.910.7615. We will do all we can to accommodate your needs and maximize your time on campus.

If you already possess a visa and passport, please follow the standard registration process.

In some cases, a B-2 temporary visitor visa may be required in order to travel to the United States.

Please consult your U.S. embassy for further information regarding visa requirements.

NOTE: The embassy may require several weeks to approve your visa request. Please begin this process at least 12 weeks before Preview.

There is always something to do in Hampton Roads. Not only is Regent University near several historical landmarks, but its close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay offer a wealth of activities for all ages.


From museums and art exhibits to theatre, concerts or sporting events, Hampton Roads offers something for everyone. Browse world-renowned paintings at Norfolk’s Chrysler Museum of Art, climb aboard a war battleship at the maritime museum, Nauticus, and enjoy spectacular cuisine at restaurants in Virginia Beach and Norfolk.

The Regent University Theatre has been serving our local community for more than 30 years by providing inspiring and thought provoking entertainment of the highest caliber. Productions range from Broadway musicals and the classics, to touching dramas and modern comedies. Audiences are delighted as they watch emerging young artists bring these stories to life. History buffs, thrill seekers and outdoor enthusiasts will all find fun opportunities just a short drive from Regent’s campus. Historical landmarks, including Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg, offer a taste of Virginia’s past. Sandy beaches, state parks and golf courses offer a chance to enjoy the outdoors, and amusement parks like Busch Gardens offer roller coasters and other rides, along with entertaining shows and unique shops and restaurants.
