The King's Pantry is...
The King's Pantry is a cooperating agency with the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia. We exist to provide temporary supplemental groceries to anyone on the Virginia Beach campus who expresses need.
Where and When Can I Participate?
The Pantry is operated out of the Community Building at Regent Village. Food distribution occurs every Wednesday from 5:00pm until 6:00pm. Donations are accepted, but not required.
King's Pantry Guidelines
- Participants must have a bona fide need of grocery support.
- Participants are urged to utilize the Pantry only as a temporary supplement. Only one shopper per household. The guideline applies for families and roommate situations. Roommate situations will receive a family portion of groceries.
- Those who are unable to visit the King's Pantry during a particular week may send a friend to receive a pre-packaged portion. Registration will be required for each portion given.
- The King's pantry is open to the public; but only adults may access this service.
- Those who benefit from the pantry are asked to volunteer once per semester.
