Director of Campus Ministries
Rev. Jason Peaks has served as the current director of Campus Ministries since January 2014. Jason is first and foremost, a son of God, a husband to his wife, Danielle, and a man dedicated to walking in the fear of the Lord.
Jason has 8 years worth of ministry experience from both ecclesial and collegiate contexts. He received his B.S. in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, as well as his MAR in Worship Studies from Liberty Theological Seminary. In 2013, he graduated from Regent University with his M.Div in Practical Theology concentrating in Interdisciplinary Studies. Jason originally joined Regent University Campus Ministries in May 2011 as the Discipleship Coordinator/Worship Coordinator, focusing on fostering community, worship and prayer on Campus amidst students. Under his vision he has initiated programs such as Life Groups, worship teams, and discipleship coaching. Jason also serves in his local church as a teacher, preacher, small group leader, and Director of Creative Arts.
As Director of Campus Ministries, Jason hopes to engage each student at Regent to grow in the image of the Son so that that in their time here they would "walk, talk, and think" like Jesus in every aspect of their life. Jason takes personally the challenge to be a true disciple of Jesus by committing himself to learning through conversations, books, and the arts.
Jason welcomes hearing about student's lives and faith journey. If you are interested in getting to know Jason, feel free to stop by his office in Robertson Hall 328.
