Substance Abuse

Open to regular staff and faculty. Presented by Optima Employee Assistance Program (EAP). A brief overview of addiction and the use of alcohol, illicit and prescription drugs will be discussed as well as signs, symptoms of substance abuse and how to intervene with an individual who has a substance use problem.

Washington, DC Student/Alumni Brunch with the Dean

Regent University School of Divinity will host a "Brunch with the Dean" on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

The brunch will be held at Panera Bread located at 3201 Duke Street in Alexandria, VA (703) 751-1800.

This rubric will help you to identify the essential standards of a quality online course based on the learning research. Jon Ritterbush shares what he learned in this course. Developed by faculty across 17 institutions, the Quality Matters Rubric is a useful tool for developing and evaluating online courses. It also provides a common language for discussion of course design.
