ADMISSIONS RECRUITER

Robertson School of Government (RSG)

This position is responsible for recruiting qualified students into our programs. The admissions recruiter’s primary duties include: manage all prospects through personal phone calls and emails; increase qualified leads by traveling locally and nationally to recruit at political organizations, conferences, military bases, and undergraduate institutions; coordinate all on-campus recruitment events, such as an open house and preview weekends; assist walk-in prospects and visitors to campus; oversee management and awarding of all financial aid for RSG; assist the Director of Enrollment in recruitment marketing initiatives.  Candidate must be a high energy “people person”; a self-starter; enthusiastic; full of ideas to grow our programs; and is competent in basic office computer applications. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, polished presentation skills, and be able to connect with a diverse customer base. Prior experience with sales and marketing or experience in higher education is a plus. A bachelor’s degree is required.

 

ADVISING SUPPORT COORDINATOR

School of Undergraduate Studies (RSU)

This position will coordinate administrative and programmatic support for the academic advisors in the Office of Advising and Student Services in the School of Undergraduate Studies (RSU).  Duties will include: complete degree worksheets for incoming students; process student academic forms; respond to general questions from students and prospects; prepare and implement advising communication plans; communicate academic policies, procedures and degree requirements to students;  act as a liaison between the student and the Registrar’s office to ensure accurate and efficient processing of student forms and requests; coordinate advising meetings, workshops, and seminars; assist in providing cordial, professional customer service to callers and visitors; assist in planning, coordinating, and executing academic advising activities and functions; maintain excellent communication and relationships with central offices such as Financial Aid, Registrar, and the Business Office.  A bachelor’s degree is required.  Candidate must have a minimum of three years experience with office records systems; excellent customer service skills; excellent organizational skills; demonstrated ability to handle a variety of tasks in a professional manner; and proficiency in MS Office programs.  Candidate must assist the office in a professional and courteous fashion; interact well with faculty, staff, and students; demonstrate good interpersonal and collaborative skills; possess a high degree of maturity when dealing with confidential matters; work independently and take initiative in solving problems; be able to prioritize effectively; and maintain professional office attire.

 

ADVANCEMENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Office of Advancement

This position will provide operational support for University's advancement efforts through application of sound business principles and technical expertise for fundraising initiatives. Duties will include database management (Oracle Banner SCT); report design and analysis; gift and pledge processing; development of non-profit prospect management; and serving as operational expert & departmental lead in management of Banner Advancement, Oracle Discoverer reports and AlumniFinder. A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required plus one year of experience in a database administration position. Required experience includes fundraising/advancement with non-profits; proficiency in electronic database management; systems management to direct staff in system usage, report writing and tables management; and statistical data analysis. ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

School of Undergraduate Studies

This position is responsible for managing the recruitment of a prospect student pool to achieve enrollment goals. This position will assist in the development and coordination of admissions' processes and services offered through the School of Undergraduate Studies; work closely with applicants from the point of application through enrollment deposit in a supportive, proactive, and professional manner; acquire and maintain a knowledge of Regent University, financial aid, and scholarships; implement recruitment strategies including correspondence, presentations, interviews, and telemarketing; conduct campus tours; and travel as assigned to college fairs, seminars, church meetings, etc.  A bachelor’s degree is required. Candidate must have a proven record with excellent customer service; 2-3 years inside sales experience; ability to meet and exceed goals; excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; strong oral and written communication skills; a desire to help people; and ability to travel and work a varied schedule with flexible hours.  Previous college admissions experience preferred.

 

COORDINATOR OF LICENSURE PROGRAMS
School of Education

Position will maintain regular schedule of weekly student advising and interviewing appointments and demonstrate a high level of service orientation by responding promptly to inquiries from potential students and by acting as an advocate for academic and personal concerns.  Position will perform transcript evaluations for all incoming Elementary Education & Career Switcher applicants; be responsible for creating and updating a program manual for use by students in these programs; be responsible for obtaining Field Placements including related logistics and paperwork; process applications for admission of students and necessary paperwork for students including acceptance, enrollment, probation, graduation, licensure, and reimbursement; assist respective subcommittee faculty with policy and procedure issues; and be responsible for creating and maintaining information on program sheets and webpages.  A bachelor’s or master’s degree in education or related field is preferred.  Candidate must have good organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills; be able to work independently with minimal supervision; have initiative and leadership skills; and demonstrate a commitment to customer service.

 

WEB DESIGNER / PROJECT MANAGER
University Marketing

This position will concept and design a wide range of internet-related materials for the University’s website, including individual school and departmental websites.  This position will interpret the image of the University for its constituents as it pertains to presenting that image on the University’s websites; provide project management for all assigned jobs, beginning with the introductory client meeting and maintaining the job status through delivery and evaluation; create web graphics and HTML email components; deliver all work on time and within budget at a high quality standard for all clients; translate concepts to Photoshop mockups to coded web pages; provide technical accuracy and thoroughness; present new ideas to department for client evaluation; and communicate effectively with internal clients as part of the department’s mission.  Candidate must have an undergraduate degree in web/graphic design or communication-related filed and five years experience.  A current online portfolio (or links of current sites) displaying user-centered design is required.  Candidate must have a thorough understanding of XHTML and CSS; basic JavaScript knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues; a passion to stay current in web technology; and a thorough, advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS3, Dreamweaver CS3 and Flash CS3.  Candidate must demonstrate attention to detail, customer service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving; be a team player willing to take constructive advice; and have a commitment to innovation, excellence and integrity.
