Regent University is an accredited university, with primary emphasis on academic excellence coupled with an understanding of Biblical principles. Graduate degrees, the Juris Doctor degree and undergraduate degrees are conferred by the University's schools. Students come from all 50 states, as well as 34 foreign nations, and represent virtually every Christian denomination. For graduate-level positions, faculty are required to hold the terminal degree in their discipline. For undergraduate programs, faculty are required to hold a master's degree and have 18 graduate credits in the discipline being taught. All degrees above and beyond the undergraduate level (Masters and Doctorate) will be required. If the faculty member does not have a terminal degree, then the undergraduate degree will be needed. ADJUNCT FACULTY Criminal Justice Regent University’s School of Undergraduate Studies seeks candidates to teach and develop courses as adjunct faculty at our Virginia Beach campus in our Criminal Justice program. The major is a new undergraduate program offering both associates and bachelors degrees in Criminal Justice. Minimum requirements for the adjunct faculty position include an earned M.A. in criminal justice, criminology, or a related discipline as well as substantial professional background in criminal justice and a commitment to Christ-centered teaching and learning. Skills in speaking, writing, and literature will be taught through this 5 - course French minor. Positions are available for French adjunct faculty at the Virginia Beach, VA campus and online. A doctoral degree in French is preferred but not required. Successful candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in French, significant teaching experience, positive relationships with students, and a commitment to Christ-centered teaching and learning.
