Federal Student Loan Disclosure Notice

Welcome to the Regent University Student loan page. Regent University participates in the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program. This loan program allows students to choose their lender for their federal loans. In an effort to assist students with this choice, Central Financial Aid has composed a list of lenders that you may want to consider. This list is provided only as a resource for use in the lender selection process and does not limit students from selecting a lender not represented.  You are NOT required to use a lender from this list and Central Financial Aid will promptly process a loan application, with unnecessary delay, for any lender that you choose as long as they are a current participant in the FFEL program (Stafford, Plus, and Grad Plus programs).  This list rotates upon each page refresh and was designed as such to ensure no one lender is in a continuous advantageous position by being listed first.

These lenders were selected by a committee based on information provided and analyzed using Texas Guarantee's List Assist product as well as appropriate federal legislation and/or regulation.  Criteria used in determining the list included, but was not limited to, computerized loan scoring, loan pricing, customer service, lender's longevity in the federal loan program and the overall student application experience.  Federal regulations require that our list contain at least three unaffiliated federal lenders and two unaffiliated private lenders. All lenders listed are currently unaffiliated. The list is reviewed annually using the institutional lender selection process.  In an effort to promote transparency in the lender selection process, if you would like to learn more about the process, please contact us at finaid@regent.edu

All staff of the Central Financial Aid Office has signed a statement acknowledging and pledging to follow NASFAA's Code of Conduct.  As a result, neither Regent University, nor its employees, has received any type of compensation or financial incentive beyond federal legislative or regulatory standards from the lenders on this list and will remove any lender that engages in such conduct. The NASFAA Statement of Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct for Institutional Aid Profesionals can be viewed here.
