Suggested Graduate PLUS Lenders
If you plan to pursue a Graduate PLUS loan, make your lender choice on the Information Request form (IRF) found in Genisys.
The following are suggested lenders for use in the Federal Loan Programs at Regent University. If you desire to utilize a lender not listed, you may indicate their name and lender code on the IRF. Student borrowers should carefully compare borrower benefits offered by each lender before making a selection. Choose your lender based on the benefits that are the best fit for you. All Federal Graduate PLUS Loans have a fixed 8.50% interest rate . Regent University requires a student to actively select a lender during the aid application process and will not recommend a specific lender to its loan applicants.

Disclosure:
This list is provided as a student resource for use in the lender selection process and does not limit students from selecting a lender not represented. You are NOT required to use a lender from this list and Central Financial Aid will promptly process a loan application from any lender that you choose as long as they are a current participant in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP; Stafford, Plus, and Grad Plus programs). This list rotates upon each page refresh and was designed as such to ensure no one lender is in a continuous advantageous position by being listed first.
These lenders were selected by a committee following an institutional procedure based on the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Monograph A Guide for Developing a Preferred Lender List and guided by the principals found in the NASFAA Statement of Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct for Institutional Financial Aid Professionals
, as well as appropriate federal legislation and/or regulation. Criteria used in determining the list includes (but was not limited to) loan pricing, customer service, and the overall student application experience. The list is reviewed annually using the institutional lender selection process. In an effort to promote transparency in the lender selection process, if you would like to learn more about the process, please contact us at finaid@regent.edu. All staff of the Central Financial Aid Office has signed a statement acknowledging and pledging to follow NASFAA's Code of Conduct. As a result, neither Regent University, nor its employees, has received any type of compensation or financial incentive beyond federal legislative or regulatory standards from the lenders on this list and will remove any lender that engages in such conduct.
