Did you know the Blackboard Certification course is one of the most important training courses you can take while teaching at Regent University?
During this brief course, you'll learn best practices for building an online course, including how to logically structure your course, how to facilitate student collaboration, and how to add graphics, videos and audio to engage learners.
Furthermore, you'll learn how to use all of the tools offered within Blackboard's control panel, such as:
- Creating Announcements
- Adding and editing course content
- Creating, monitoring and assessing discussion boards
- Changing course design
- Managing users
- Managing student groups
- Creating and deploying tests, and
- Using the grade book
By the end of the course, you'll be able to competently navigate the Blackboard Content System.
The duration of this online course is four weeks, with approximately 2 and a half to 4 hours per week actually spent on course work. With this course under your belt, you'll be even better equipped to clearly communicate your vast subject knowledge to your online students. AND, each participant will receive a certificate of completion. Now you know!

Repairing an image or masking a blemish in Photoshop is quick and easy using the Healing Brush tool. Try this 3 step technique.
Step 1: Open and image in Photoshop, and choose the Healing Brush tool from the tools palette.
Step 2: Select the source pixels with which to repair your image. Choose an area that closely resembles the one you are repairing for the smoothest effect. To select source pixels, hold down the ALT key and left-click once.
Step 3: With the Healing Brush tool centered over the blemish, left-click once.
That's all there is to it. To learn more about what you can do with Photoshop, sign up for Photoshop Basics via the Regent Training System.
