Some of the most exciting educational technology currently in use at Regent University is a result of Web 2.0.

Web 2.0 is the movement in education toward enhancing interconnectivity, collaboration, and creativity. This is accomplished through:

  • Social networking
  • Podcasts
  • Blogs
  • Wikis

Regent has jumped into the world of Web 2.0 by offering individual and course wikis and blogs in Blackboard.

Use wikis to work on collaborative papers, to gather knowledge in a common repository, and to identify students who need encouragement participating in class.

Blogs give students the opportunity to reflect on different topics and share those reflections with others.

dditionally, blogs can serve to augment online ePortfolios. Now you know!

The QEP is part of Regent's reaffirmation of accreditation. This plan will demonstrate the university's plan to improve student learning through Christ-centered, global competence of individuals.

Much of how the QEP is translated into the curriculum is shaped by faculty. We would like to encourage you to learn about the QEP as we fulfill Regent's mission of Christian leadership to change the world.

Read more about the QEP.
