Extreme Course Makeover
CTL provides an opportunity for one deserving Blackboard course to get a top to bottom makeover to improve the course navigation and transform it into a more visually stimulating, enhanced course website.
CTL redesigns the course and provides the following:
- Consultation with the instructor
- A course banner
- An introductory welcome video
- Multimedia to supplement the course
- Course images to encapsulate the text content
- Incorporation of course specific media enhancement(s)
- Revision of PowerPoint presentations and the addition of audio if necessary
- A usability analysis and possibly a redesign of the course navigation and content organization
The revised course will be available the following semester. Our hope is to inspire faculty members to see the vast possibilities available in Blackboard and to change perceptions of what online or blended courses can look like.
