Ginger Zillges

Ginger Zillges oversees the Center's activities and works closely with senior administrators and faculty to create a variety of services that support teaching and learning at the university.

For over fifteen years, Ms. Zillges has been finding solutions to academic and administrative technology and support issues in higher education. (curriculum vitae) Her leadership is shaped by her technical awareness, ability to anticipate and manage change, and her experience in innovative course design and delivery. For the past eight years, Ms. Zillges has served as Executive Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, fostering student-learning by leveraging faculty development and technology services.

Ms. Zillges leads an award-winning team of instructional designers and multimedia producers who provide academic and project management support to the administration and faculty members. This support ranges from instructional design consultations and related projects and services, teaching observations, and multimedia enhancement. She is in close communication with administrators and academics.  Ms. Zillges’ area of specialty is online course design. She holds a master’s degree in Communication from Regent University. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology in the Stem and Professional Studies department at Old Dominion University.
