What is Direct Deposit?
Direct deposit is the automatic crediting of your net pay into your personal checking and/or savings account. It is mandatory for all University employees.
What are the benefits of having direct deposit?
- It is automatic.
- No waiting in line at the bank.
- No scrambling if you are out of town or on vacation.
- Saves transfer of funds if you use more than one account. Deposits can be directed to a checking and a savings account.
- Eliminates the hassle of losing checks and waiting for a replacement.
How do I sign up?
Login to the MyRegent Portal and click the Genisys icon. Select "Employee Services " on the Main menu. Select "Pay Information" on the Employee menu. Select "Direct Deposit Allocation" on the Pay Information menu.
When will it take effect?
It will take approximately two pay periods to activate direct deposit for you. Until then, you will receive a check.
