Wholesale Club Memberships
Regent University has two wholesale distributorship memberships: COSTCO and Sam's Club. Company cards for COSTCO and Sam's Club are available for university purchases through the purchasing department. COSTCO is Regent's preferred club membership where the university receives a rebate on total purchases. All schools and departments are encouraged to use COSTCO when feasible. Directions to COSTCO are provided by the purchasing department.
To ensure availability, please reserve the card one week in advance by contacting the purchasing department at x4006 or by emailing purchasing@regent.edu. Cards checked out one day must be returned the next business day. The cards are nontransferable. The person shopping for the supplies must be the person checking out the card from Purchasing. The original receipt must be submitted to Purchasing at the time the card is returned. No exception. A copy will be made for you to have signed by an authorized cost center manager. Cost center's purchasing individual memberships without approval from Purchasing will not be reimbursed for the cost of membership.
First-time users will be asked to sign a usage agreement. This agreement states, "I agree not to purchase personal items on the Club purchasing card. I will return all receipts with the cost center and accounting code information, signature of cost center manager, and the function/event name and purpose for the purchases."
