The Founders Inn Room Rates

The Founders Inn graciously extended special fixed room rates to Regent University faculty and staff. Current rates are:

07/01/09 - 11/15/09: $115 per night (single)
11/16/09 - 03/07/10: $94 per night (single)
03/08/10 - 06/30/10: $115 per night (single)

Regent Guest Lodging

Reservation guidelines are as follows:

  1. DO NOT place any charges on the Visa card, which is used only to guarantee reservation.
  2. Print two copies of the confirmation page, keep one copy for the records. The other copy needs an authoritative signature and account code information for the cost center. Please forward to Purchasing for processing.
  3. The special request comments section on the reservation page must include:
    • Payment codes for guests: Room and tax (RT), or room, tax and meals (RTM). 
    • A statement that Regent University does not pay for alcoholic beverages.
    • A description of the reason why the guest is visiting. 
    • Other necessary information, such as a shuttle request or dining arrangements.

Contact the Founders Inn for reservations, 757.424.5511, and identify as Regent University representatives who are making reservations for incoming Regent guests.

  1. Upon securing the reservation number, a Purchase Requisition Form should be prepared containing the following information:
    • Name of the Guest
    • Number in Party
    • Date(s) of Lodging
    • Room Rate
    • Reservation Number
    • Costs covered by Regent: (Indicate all that apply) - Room/Tax - Meals
    • Department to be charged
    • Purpose of hotel stay
    • NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES (GUEST WILL NEED TO PAY FOR THESE ITEMS).
  2. Upon obtaining an authorized signature, the signed Purchase Requisition Form should then be submitted to the Purchasing Office for processing. Authorization numbers pertaining to The Founders Inn will be processed within 72 hours of receipt.
  3. Guests will not be allowed to charge any room, meals, telephone calls or incidentals to Regent University unless The Founders Inn receives an authorization number from Purchasing authorizing specific services that may be billed to Regent.
