Cell Phones & Pagers
Purchasing will assist departments in cell phone service for university business. Verizon Wireless is the preferred provider and offers Regent a 6% discount. To obtain information regarding service and available plans, cost centers can contact the purchasing assistant at 757.352.4006. To authorize the cell phone plan, the cost center manager must email the purchasing assistant at purchasing@regent.edu.
Regent's discount is available only to those applying through Purchasing. Cost centers should not contact Verizon directly to activate service, nor purchase accessory items at their retail store. Verizon will send the monthly service payments directly to Accounts Payable.
Regent University has a contract with USA Mobility for pager needs. The monthly cost of a numeric pager is $3.80, and the monthly cost of an alpha-numeric pager is $8.40. For more information, call 757.352.4008.
