Fulbright Program for Students
The Fulbright program is the largest U.S. international exchange program offering opportunities for students, scholars and professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and teaching in elementary and secondary schools worldwide.
You could be one of more than 1,500 students who receive a Fulbright U.S. Student grant to go overseas, if you:
- Are a U.S. citizen, and
- Will have a bachelor's degree by the beginning of date of the grant and do not have a doctorate degree as of October 19, 2009 (note that applicants may hold a J.D. degree at the time of application), and
- Are thinking of studying, teaching English or conducting research abroad
