Regent University Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) offers an intensive English as a Second Language and Cultural Immersion summer institute. Hosted in the United States, this three-week English language program is designed to enhance the English speaking ability of students, executives and professionals. Through cultural immersion and experimental training each participant has the opportunity to increase their English proficiency. Read more below...

Certificate Program:

Whether you’re beginning your English Language journey or refining your English skills or want to learn more about the American Culture PCE offers three English Language tracks Beginners and Intermediate, Advanced and Business English. Regent University’s qualified English Language Professors and Instructors provide the expertise and qualifications to deliver high quality and effective English education.
ELCII offers 60 in classroom course hours of English Language instruction incorporated with English experimental training excursions. ELCII students also discover American culture by participating in the Washington, D.C. educational tour.

Students are required to complete an English Language assessment test administered by Regent University to determine the appropriate track they will be designated to. Business English students should have an intermediate to advanced level of English proficiency to be part of this track.

Visa Requirements:
If traveling from abroad to attend the English Language and Cultural Immersion Institute a Visitor’s Visa is recommended. Prospective students should consult their local Embassy to acquire the necessary information to apply for a U.S. Visa.
Health Insurance:
If you are attending the English Language and Culture Immersion Institute at Regent University you are required to have health insurance coverage.
Admitted students will lodge at Regent University’s student housing for the duration of their three-week stay.
