Empowerment Sessions - Norfolk, VA

Throughout the 2011 year, the Education Outreach division of Professional and Continuing Education will be conducting seminars, leadership trainings and community empowerment workshops throughout the world. This initiative starts within the Lexington Park Area of Norfolk, Va. These monthly seminars are going to address issues in your community as well as provide solutions.

Dream Center - Los Angeles, California

On September 30 - October 2, 2010, Regent University Professional and Continuing Education provided train-the-trainer sessions to staff at the Los Angeles-based Dream Center. Led by Dr. Antipas Harris and Ronnie Rice, the two-day training on conflict resolution, urban renewal and Biblical integration provided 14 hours of training and new insight to the staff participants.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Training - China

In October 2010, Regent University Professional and Continuing Education led a team to Gansu Province in the Western region of China to conduct leadership and innovation training with 200 business leaders. The training, conducted by Dr. Dail Fields and Dr. Gary Oster, along with PCE program manager Clare Huang and James Xiao of CBN China, made both a practical and transformational impact in the lives of these business leaders from the cities of Pingliang and Tianshui. With several government officials in attendance, participants were fully engaged in the sessions and recruited colleagues from area business leaders to return for the second day of training.

Leadership Training - Beijing, China

In April 2010 and October 2010, Regent University provided training to more than 300 government leaders and emerging government leaders at the Beijing Academy of Chinese Culture and the China Youth University for Political Science. Led by Dr. Corné Bekker and Julianne Cenac, participants were inspired to learn about transformational theories of leadership and their application toward developing organizations that make a positive impact on their employees and society.
