Teresa Hairston

Dr. Teresa Hairston

Founder, Gospel Today magazine

For 10 years, Hairston was the on-air host of the Gospel Today weekly television program. She has interviewed numerous Gospel music artists and served as host of two Gospel celebrations at the White House. In 1996, she founded The Gospel Heritage Foundation, a nonprofit organization that hosts the nation's popular "Praise & Worship Conference." In 2005, Hairston launched her own record label, Gospel Today Entertainment, which released two nationally acclaimed CD projects. In 2010, she published her first book, How to Pursue Your Purpose, in which she shares Biblical principles that help readers unlock and actualize their own dreams. She earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Richmond Virginia Seminary.

Courtney McBath

Courtney McBath

Pastor, Calvary Revival Church, Norfolk, Va.

Formerly an engineer, B. Courtney McBath left his career in 1990 to establish Calvary Revival Church in Norfolk, Va., with his wife and co-pastor Janeen. The church has grown from 21 initial congregants to nearly 6,000 weekly attendees. In 1998, McBath founded Calvary Alliance of Churches and Ministries, an organization that serves bishops and leaders in the United States, Africa, India and the Caribbean. Courtney is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he earned a B.S. in Humanities and Engineering. He also earned an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Regent University and a D.Min. from Providence Bible College and Theological Seminary.

Janeen McBath

Janeen McBath

Co-pastor, Calvary Revival Church, Norfolk, Va.

Affectionately known as "Lady J," Janeen McBath is a powerful and gifted teacher of God's Word and is proficient in leadership development. She is responsible for various ministries at Calvary Revival Church and is the founding president of House of Esther Ministries, Inc., a private, non-profit maternity home for teenage girls and single mothers. She is also a business owner and the recipient of several awards in recognition of her success as a prominent businesswoman in the community.

David M. Edwards

David M. Edwards

Creative Director, Regent University International Center for Worship, Virginia Beach, Va.

David is a singer and songwriter with a wealth of experience as a teacher, writer, musician and pastor. In 2009, Edwards produced and sang on Margaret Becker's Christmas album Gift of Love. In 2005 and 2007, he received awards from nationally published Worship Leader Magazine for his singles "Holy Rain" and "Create in Me." His latest album for Maranatha! Music, Heart Full of Soul was released in spring 2013.

Earl Bynum

Earl Bynum

Executive Minister of Music, Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Va.

Earl Bynum is an accomplished musician whose ministry has touched lives nationally and internationally through 14 world tours. He has performed alongside music legends Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, The Beach Boys, and contemporary Christian artists Echoing Angels and Britt Nicole. His album, Open My Heart, received two 2010 Stellar Music Award nominations, and he was awarded National Announcer of the Year 2008/2009 by the Gospel Announcers Guild. He is also the producer and host of a syndicated radio show and has been featured on the Trinity Broadcasting Network and Black Entertainment Television.
