Outreach & Services
The Center for Latino Leadership (CLL) offers a number of services to accommodate the needs of students and the local community. These include consulting services, curriculum development, seminars and workshops and research opportunities.
Latino Pastoral Development Program
Our main outreach program to date is the Latino Pastoral Development Program. It provides conferences for church leaders, academicians, business and community leaders, and others who desire to help address cultural trends and meet the growing needs of the Hispanic community.
Hispanic Youth Symposium
The Hispanic Youth Symposium is college empowerment program for Latino students that offers instruction in preparing for and applying to college, financing a college education, connecting with Latino role models in Virginia, and exploring career pathways in high-need industries.
Education Talks
Our education talks have different formats and venues: radio programming, workshops, seminars, lectures and presentations with the objective of empowering the community to pursue higher education.
