Center for Latino Leadership - Welcome to the Community
Welcome! Bienvenidos! The Center for Latino Leadership (CLL) at Regent University works closely with colleagues across campus to foster understanding of the U.S. Latino experience. The center supports interdisciplinary initiatives related to the Latina/o population as a key component of the university’s mission to train Christian leaders to change the world.
Our Mission
CLL works closely with all schools and departments at Regent University with the purpose of serving as:
- A resource for all students who are interested in Latino issues, history and/or culture
- A support for Latina/o Regent student success
- A resource and research center for Latino studies in Christian higher education
Programs and Initiatives
Through CLL, organizations have access to seminars, institutes, training, publications and consulting services regarding a variety of topics and assessments. Our programs utilize professional educators, subject experts and other strategic partners to meet client needs and improve organizations. The center is involved either by leading or contributing to the following programs and initiatives:
- Latino Pastoral Development Program
- Latino/Hispanic Symposium
- Latina/o Education Summit
- Student paper competitions and presentations
- Photography, video and essay contests
- Hispanic Heritage Month
- Hispanic chapel
- Chispa Media Festival
