Center for Latino Leadership - Welcome
Welcome! Bienvenidos. Regent University consists of a vibrant and growing Latino community of students, faculty and staff committed to lives of principled leadership and partnership. The Center for Latino Leadership (CLL) exists to help our Latino students in all aspects of their journey at Regent and to make a positive difference in our communities, our nation and our world. In addition, we serve as:
- A resource for all students who are interested in Latino issues, history and/or culture
- A resource for the recruitment, retention and graduation of Latino students
- A resource and research center for Latino studies in Christian higher education
- A resource and research center for the greater community on Latino relevant issues
The Center for Latino Leadership works in close partnership with prominent Latino organizations including the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and the Hispanic Youth Institute. Likewise, CLL works closely with colleagues across the Regent campus and throughout the greater community to foster understanding of the U.S. Latino experience. The center supports interdisciplinary initiatives related to the Latino population as a key component of the university's mission to train Christian leaders to change the world.
On these pages you will find detailed information about Regent's Latino community, educational programs and financial aid for Latino students, and student and faculty research on topics relevant to the Latino community.
