Goals and Objectives

In order to accomplish its purpose, the Office of Assessment will pursue the following goals:

  1. Consult with each University department and academic program in the area of alignment with Regent's mission and reporting assessment findings;

    In order to meet this goal, the Office of Assessment will evidence:
    1. Timely and quality completion of the Program Review for each scheduled academic program and the Assessment Report for each non-academic area;
    2. Effective assistant opportunities to all stakeholders involved with the completion of the Program Review and Assessment Report.
  2. Coordinate all regional accreditation reporting;

    In order to meet this goal, the Office of Assessment will evidence:
    1. Adequate progress towards the articulation of compliance of each accreditation standard related to the upcoming report;
    2. Efficient involvement throughout the institution;
    3. Sufficient update reports to leadership;
    4. Effective assistant opportunities to all stakeholders involved with the completion of the upcoming accreditation report.
  3. Provide updates of Regent's Strategic Plan to needed stakeholders;

    In order to meet this goal, the Office of Assessment will evidence:
    1. Adequate communication as to the roles and responsibility of the Strategic Plan to needed stakeholders;
    2. Sufficient update reports to leadership.
  4. Possess a quality staff;

    In order to meet this goal, the Office of Assessment will evidence:
    1. Qualified staffing for each position;
    2. Sufficient staffing for the department.
  5. Manage administrative services within the department;

    In order to meet this goal, the Office of Assessment will evidence:
    1. Effective and efficient policies and procedures within the department;
    2. Effectiveness and efficiency with internal departmental support.
  6. Evidence compliance with all standards of external overseers;

    In order to meet this goal, the Office of Assessment will evidence:
    1. Effectiveness and efficiency in recording and providing compliance information;
    2. Timely implementation of all improvements.
