As a faculty member you can access the University network when you login to a computer on campus. The campus networks are connected to the Internet by a T-3 line (45meg).
On the network, there are several different places to store your data: the M: drive, your P: drive, and the Blackboard Content System. The M: drive is primarily used for school and departmental information. The P: drive is your personal drive where you can store documents such as reviews, articles you have written, student papers, etc. The Blackboard Content System is designed for you to store any course-related documents such as syllabi, assignment instructions, course materials, etc. In the interest of security it is important that each document is stored in the appropriate area.
