Freshmen Residential Admissions Deadlines
April 15 for Admission and May 1 for Housing
You may already know that Regent requires all first-year freshmen who will be taking class on-campus (ages 17 to 22) to live on-campus, but in order to get guaranteed priority housing in the Commons, students must have the following steps completed by May 1, 2009:
- Step 1: Must be an accepted student into Regent University (Application due April 15 to meet this guaranteed priority housing deadline)
- Step 2: After acceptance is confirmed, must pay the enrollment deposit ($50 online or at Campus Business Office)
- Step 3: After acceptance is confirmed and enrollment deposit paid, must submit the housing application
- Step 4: Must submit the housing application fee (Pay $30 online or at Regent Commons Office)
Our goal with this process is to ensure that all first-year freshmen receive guaranteed priority housing in the Commons, Regent's most desirable on-campus living community. The Commons are our luxury-style apartments that offer an unparalleled University living experience just steps from the heart of campus.
We will still accept first-year freshmen applications after this deadline, but want to emphasize that we cannot guarantee priority housing in the Commons after May 1.
If you have any questions about your admissions application, call your Admissions Counselor at (888) 718-1222 or visit our website.
First-year freshmen who want to live off campus must first check their eligibility status before they submit a formal housing appeal
to the Associate Dean of Students. The appeal must be submitted to the Undergraduate Student Services office no later than May 1, 2009.
