'I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no loger I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me' (Galatians 2:20).
Shortly after I surrendered my heart, soul, mind, and strength to my Jesus, He revealed this verse to me as a reminder of who He is, who I am not, and that everything I am and do must be filtered through its truth. Though I fail over and again, I praise Him for never leaving or forsaking, but continually drawing me to Him. My service on the Regent Undergraduate Council is as a direct result of God's wanting to increase my faith and challenge my dependence upon Him, because I know that I cannot do any of what you have elected me to do without Him. I am a Senior, English major, who transfered here in August of 2008 from Southern California (Palm Sprins area), and never expected to be involved in student government, let alone serving as President, and as such am both excited and daunted by this adventure. Your prayers for myself, and your Council are more than appreciated, they are imperative. Thus, if you want to see God move in your school please partner in prayer with us. Also, your questions, comments, concerns, and random ramblings are always welcome, so drop me an e-mail, or pop in during my office hours. I look forward to hearing from those of you who live off and on campus, and to both serving you and alongside of you!
For those of you wondering what type of personality you are dealing with in your Pres, I am superfluously sarcastic, a moive/theatre/music/literature junkie, a Francophile, and love nothing more than worshiping my Jesus with the people I love.
PS… I miss In-N-Out!

Hey there! I am absolutely thrilled to be serving as RUC secretary and can't wait to see the changes in undergrad this coming year. This is my second year at Regent, and I am an Elementary Education major. I love Regent, great books, tea, Virginia, playing the piano, my family quotes, words, deep conversations, laughing, public speaking, worldviews, little kids, and God's people.
"I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death..." Philippians 3:10.
May God mightily bless your life, and may you always be in the center of His will.

"I am a 20 year old Government major and am pursuing a minor in Psychology. I have been enrolled at Regent University since Fall 2006, so I'm currently in my third year of study. I'm originally from Massachusetts, where I lived my whole life. I love music, both listening to it and playing. I play piano and violin, with the hope of someday learning the saxophone. I love watching football, and I really enjoy watching and discussing movies (my favorite is probably "Lord of the Rings"). I am very much into government and debate, with a lot of passion for the political process. One of my favorite Bible verses is
Romans 12:2 - "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Born and raised in New England, with an hour drive landing me at the beach, White Mountains, or Boston depending what direction I went, I tend to feel it was an ideal place to grow up. I attended Nashua Christian Academy and caught their heart for a lifestyle emphasized on relational outreach by participating in local and international opportunities. Upon graduation, I was accepted to Oral Roberts University and spent the first two years of my college career in Tulsa, OK. ORU for me was an oasis where God became more than a concept, but a Person I wanted to do life with... His way. During this time, God presented the idea of a nomadic life in an intriguing way. I hope to live most of my life overseas wherever He wants. My heart is soft for the oppressed, abandoned, and proclaimed worthless by their own societies. I believe there are a lot of good human rights advocacy programs, yet bringing Christ adds the element of holistic redemption. Regent presented me with the career connections I was looking for, so back to the East Coast it was for me! I'm finishing up my Communication major and will graduate May 2010. In the meantime, I am thrilled to serve the undergraduate student body as the Public Relations Officer. Feel free to email me, friend me on Facebook, or pop by during my office hours!

Greetings all, it is only by the grace of God Almighty that I may present myself as the RUC Chaplain for the coming academic year! I cannot wait to see and seek all that God has in store for us!
I am a business student here at Regent, but that does not deter me from seeking to follow Jesus with all my heart and encouraging all of you to do the same! I grew up on the mission field with my parents in Brazil, and that experience, among others, has given me a passion for Jesus and for people. I look forward to serving the students of Regent in every capacity, so long as it points you toward the fullness of life that is in Christ! I thank God for the freedom that we have at Regent to express our faith, yet I am also challenged by our motto of "Christian Leadership to Change the World." I am certain that we will not become such leaders unless we continually give God our all. Does Christ reign in your life? Let's seek Him together.
