Communication Arts

Within Communication Arts, we interweave communication theory and practice; students learn theory and how to apply it in a dynamic environment. Advances in technology are also incorporated in our courses as they continuously impact the field. For instance, Second Life, Twitter, podcasting, Web 2.0 and blogs have altered how we send and receive communication. Studying changes in the field makes our educational experience relevant to the present and a foundation for the future. All of our coursework is explored through the lens of a Christian worldview.

The Communication Studies department equips students to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly advancing field of communication. You’ll be challenged to seek the truth and apply it in redemptive ways to all aspects of culture. Sharpen your skills in advertising and public relations, journalism, social media, organizational communication, and more. Explore these degree programs.
