Student Orientation Leaders
Orientation Leaders (OLs) welcome and help new students to acclimate to Regent University. OLs have the privilege of introducing students to campus and student life, creating a memorable experience, and being a trusted guide, mentor, and friend.
Great Orientation Leaders will:
- Maintain enthusiasm and ensure student participation in all orientation events
- Serve as a positive role model at orientation and beyond
- Be available to work the entire duration of orientation
- Participate fully in orientation leader training and required activities
- Uphold all standards of the Regent Community and fulfill all orientation expectations
SOAR
SOAR is our Summer Orientation and is an opportunity for undergrads transitioning from high school to get connected with other students, meets student leaders, view their potential housing arrangements, meet with their academic advisor, and get ready for the fall. Parents often attend as well.
Campus Connection
Campus Connection and Welcome Week occurs between move-in day and the first day of classes. Beginning with the excitement of Move-in Day, there are two days of getting to know classmates, student leaders, staff, and professors, hearing about exciting opportunities from the Offices of Student Life and Campus Ministries, and learning about the various resources and services that will help students to succeed at Regent.
