Meet the Director
Kita Graham
Kita Graham has worked in higher education for more than 12 years. Prior to her appointment as Director of Career Services for Regent University's School of Undergraduate Studies, she served as Director of The Learning Center at Owens Community College in Toledo, OH.
The Learning Center campus was located inside the county’s one stop employment agency, The Source. Kita helped to establish The Center as its first Director. She oversaw the daily operations of the entire facility, which included: scheduling classes, organizing community service fairs, and offering academic & career advising. Kita also managed the online QuickStart to College program, a project dedicated to introducing underemployed adult learners to the higher education process.
Ms. Graham is a certified trainer for Bridges out of Poverty, a resource which uses the hidden rules of economic class to educate social workers, employers, and community organizations about the unique obstacles that individuals reared in poverty often face. Kita is a Chattanooga, Tennessee native and holds a B.S. in Communications from Middle Tennessee State University. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., which awards scholarships and works to encourage young women to pursue higher education.
Kita is now looking forward to assisting Regent’s undergraduates in their ministry and career pursuits. Her mission is to increase their marketability, and to develop more internship/employment opportunities – while giving God the glory!
She is married to Efrem and they have two children.
