Study Abroad in England


English 475—Literary England and Scotland

This course is designed to promote an awareness of the historical and cultural environment which gave rise to the work of several major British and Scottish writers important to the Christian tradition in literature. Students will visit relevant historical sites and read selections from Shakespeare, the Brontes, Wordsworth, Waugh, Lewis, Tolkien, Burns, Stevenson, Scott, Barrie, and Macdonald.
Prerequisite: English 102 or equivalent
