Like many colleges with study abroad programs, Regent believes it is critical for you to have an opportunity to gain a global perspective in college. Our study abroad programs are a great avenue for students to live the Regent mission as Christian leaders around the world. If you're looking for an exciting supplement to your academic experience, the opportunity to travel during college offers the perfect chance to apply your studies in different cultural and global contexts.

Regent University's College of Arts and Sciences in conjunction with the Office of Global Affairs is delighted to offer a 10-day summer study abroad trip to London, England; Edinburgh, Scotland; and several other cities and locales important to British literature, including Oxford, Haworth, York, the Lake Country, and the Border Lands. Students will visit historic sites and enjoy guided, educational tours of important cathedrals, castles and colleges.
One special-topics literature course will be offered in conjunction with the trip—English 475, "Literary England and Scotland," which will be taught on site and online by Dr. Peter Fraser. Students will have the opportunity to study and interact with great literature in its own cultural context, while exploring many of the marvels of both England and Scotland.
Best Semester is the off-campus study program offered exclusively through the Council of Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU), which is an association of intentionally Christian college and universities. Regent University is an affiliate member of the CCCU, which means you can take advantage of all the culture-shaping and culture-crossing programs they offer. All of the Best Semester programs allow you to explore and engage in a new culture and incorporate biblical integration through seminars and service projects. With 12 different programs (four domestic and eight international locations), you’re sure to find a location or emphasis that fits with God’s calling for your life. We encourage you to check out www.bestsemester.com where you can explore all the opportunities by program, location, topic and major.
Mission Trips through Teen Mania's Global Expeditions
Each year, thousands of teens come from all over North America to travel with Global Expeditions. Check out their website for more details on how you can participate.
