The ILS seeks to achieve the following objectives:
To provoke thought and discussion on various topics relating to international law, and to bring together scholars to reflect on the international law as it relates to economics, the environment, human rights, and political stability
To inspire leadership and to promote service to peoples around the world, in accordance with the Christian calling to reach out to those in need
To raise awareness of human rights violations and work in solidarity with other groups seeking to protect those rights
To be a resource center for students in the Regent community, providing information on international law opportunities
