Law Marketing promotes Regent Law School through external and internal communications. This mission is accomplished through engaging media, carrying out law school events, and maintaining Regent Law School's web site.
Student Org Websites
For updates to your student organization web site, contact LawWebmaster@regent.edu with the web address of the page(s) to be changed and the information to be changed on each page.
Or simply fill out the website feedback form.
Please keep in mind that you are responsible for all content on your site, whether adding or removing - after events, board member changes, etc., please be sure to contact us to have old information removed.
Student Org Email Addresses
Students who need access to their organization's email address should contact the organization's faculty advisor, who will fill out an “Email Account Request” listed on the Staff and Faculty Forms page.
You will need to provide the faculty advisor with official Regent email addresses for recipients of the account.

Student Org Blackboard Accounts
Students who need to create or access to their organization's Blackboard space should contact the organization's faculty advisor, who will fill out a Blackboard Organization Request. Faculty members can find the form by logging into the MyRegent Portal and clicking the ”Information Technology (IT)” link in left sidebar and then “Blackboard Forms”.
You will need to provide the faculty advisor with the official Regent email address for those who need access.

Student Org Network Access
Students who need to create or access their organization's network space (G:\Studentapps) should contact the organization's faculty advisor, who will email helpdesk@regent.edu.
You will need to provide the faculty advisor with official Regent email addresses for anyone who needs access to the network space.

Student Elections to Post in Genisys
Students who would like to set up an election in Genisys must make the resuts throught their faculty advisor. Requests are to be sent to Kurt Fuge (kfuge@regent.edu) with the following information:
1. Student org's full name
2. Start Date
3. End Date
4. Who can vote (all law students, 1L's, 2L's, 3L's, etc.)
5. What Positions
6. Who is running for what
Results will be sent the next business day after the election.
Student Org Events
Room Reservations
If you need a room for a board meeting or members-only meeting, submit your request by emailing lawrooms@regent.edu, by calling 757.352.4521, or in person at Robertson Hall 223.
Anything other than the above is considered a special event and requires the Special Event Application form. If an outside speaker will be speaking, you must first secure the approval of your faculty advisor, then fill out a Request for Speaker form.
Send necessary forms to Jamie Brennan, at jbrennan@regent.edu. Upon approval, you will receive an email containing instructions for reserving rooms, set-up, a/v equipment, etc.
Note: If you use the Special Event Application through Student Life, you do not need to request a room separately.

Please be sure to read over the Authorization for Food in Classroom policy if it applies to your event.
Reserving Tables
The School of Law has three tables that may be reserved by student organizations free of charge. You are required to set them up and take them down yourself. Once your event has been approved, request the use of a Law School table from by emailing lawrooms@regent.edu. Otherwise, tables must be reserved through Administrative Services.
Parking Passes
When hosting campus visitors and speakers, student organizations may obtain parking passes and either mail them in advance to their visitors or provide them upon arrival. See the Visitor Parking/Reserved Parking for Special Events.
Advertising Events
Printed Marketing Materials
- Stationery - Copy Services has a variety of paper, cards, and envelopes that can be ordered online. They can also provide excellent color prints, photocopies, binding, and laminating for event materials. Design your piece in MS Word or Publisher up to 11"x17".
- Postcard Shells - Law Marketing has generic Regent Law blue postcard shells that can be used for invitations or other marketing purposes. Contact lawmarketing@regent.edu.
- Custom Designed Pieces - Law Marketing can also coordinate the creation of custom designed postcards, posters, and other printed pieces through University Marketing. First review the FAQ and timeline before contacting lawmarketing@regent.edu about your job.
U.S. Mail & Email
- Law Faculty & Students - Announcements are communicated to the student body through a weekly email message sent to the all student listserv on Friday afternoon. Requests should be emailed to Mary Bunch by noon on Thursday with a subject line of “Newsletter Announcement.”
- All-Staff/All-Student/All-Faculty Emails - visit the University Listserv Announcements page to send out announcements.
- Alumni - Contact with alumni may be coordinated by Darius Davenport through his alumni update sent every 6 weeks. For more information please contact ext. 4581 or ddavenport@regent.edu.
- Email Blast - For larger events, Law Marketing is able to provide access to the Law School's mailing list which contains both mailing addresses as well as emailing addresses. Law Marketing has the capability of sending out an email with text approved by Dean Murphy, Administrative Dean, to various email lists.
- Mailing Lists - The law school maintains various mailing lists (for email and USPS mail). For more information about acquiring these lists and/or mailing printed pieces in bulk (quantities over 200) via US mail, please contact 757.352.4613 or lawmarketing@regent.edu.
