A visitor to campus will quickly learn that the students, staff and faculty of Regent University share a commitment to support one another and live out their Christian faith. Since the University is non-denominational, no one Christian tradition predominates. Indeed, many churches and faiths are represented by members of the Regent family, including Assemblies of God, Baptist, Catholic, Episcopalian, Lutheran, and Presbyterian, among others.

A defining characteristic of the School of Law is the ten-minute period of devotion that precedes each class. Led by the faculty member or a student, this time is used for prayers of thanks, prayers of intercession, or reflection on scripture. Often faculty will use the devotion time to relate biblical principles to the material covered in class.

Faculty members are concerned about students' professional development, as well as their faith-life. The mission of the University encourages students to embrace their faith as students and to grow in their faith as aspiring professionals. Students share their faith through chapel services, Bible study groups, and special events that are regularly hosted on campus.

The University employs a full-time chaplain who assists and supports all members of the University community. Additionally, each school at the University has designated student chaplains.
